Pizza Dough - Bread Machine

Pizza dough bread machine (90 minutes in machine, 7 min convection bake, 10 min rack rest)


Preheat oven to 550 degrees Fahrenheit


Bread Machine

1 cup warm water

3 cup flour

½ tsp salt (Morton’s table salt)

2 TBSP olive oil (Great Value-not extra virgin)

1 1/2 tsp yeast (Fleishmann Bread Machine yeast-make a well in flour)


PIZZA

-Grate garlic clove in 1 TBSP olive oil and 1 TBSP salted butter, microwave until liquid (15 sec)


Add olive oil/butter to pizza pan

Flatten dough in pan

Baste top of dough with oil

Add half jar Rao’s pizza sauce

Add 3 cups white cheddar or mozzarella

Place oiled pan with pizza on bottom rack for 7 minutes

Place pizza on cooling rack for 10 minutes-sprinkle Parmiggiano Reggiano and oregano


TIPS

Add a splash of water after 5 mins kneading

Add 1 tsp olive oil 5 min before kneading cycle ends (25 minutes into process)

Place pizza pan on top of stove to warm while bread is in machine
